Established by Katrina, Ivy Shores was created for women who appreciate and value quality, timeless and versatile items of jewellery. Ivy Shores has a focus on showcasing the most beautiful natural gemstone, the pearl. Designed and handmade in Tamworth, Australia.

Get to know the face behind the brand...

My love of jewellery started at the young age of 10. Weekends and afternoons were spent tinkering away creating handmade earrings, bracelets and necklaces; to then sell at the local markets in my hometown of Tamworth, NSW. I would never have imagined that 15 years later, the spark would reignite and I would launch my own jewellery business, Ivy Shores.

Ivy is my late grandmother's middle name. Having been inspired by her creativity growing up, the decision to incorporate a part of her in my new creative venture felt fitting. 'Shores' derives from my focus on showcasing the naturally formed gemstone, the pearl.

When Ivy Shores launched in 2019, I had visions of creating a pearl jewellery empire. I sourced earrings from a collection of suppliers and set off on a determined journey. A year later, and at the beginning of a global pandemic, I came to the realisation that I had taken the joy out of my business by outsourcing the design and creation of my pieces. The decision was made to close Ivy Shores while life was uncertain and new plans were boiling.

The reason I started Ivy Shores, was to reignite my passion for the craft of jewellery making. I somehow lost that in the early days of Ivy Shores.

I am incredibly proud to have re-launched Ivy Shores, with all pieces being designed and handcrafted in-house, in Tamworth, Australia. Ivy Shores still has a strong focus on showcasing the most beautiful natural gemstone, the pearl. Only now, I can guarantee every piece is made with love and care using materials that I personally source.

I am thrilled to be designing and creating again, back to the roots of where my passion for jewellery began. I want to create timeless, versatile jewellery that you can wear day to day or on special occasions.
